Gluten-free snack ideas for hectic days by Paige Woods

Busy worker and gluten-free activist Paige Woods knows the necessity of quick, filling snacks free of compromise for health.

“There are so many delicious gluten-free choices,” Paige notes. She lists here her preferred foods that keep her going on stressful days.

1. Greek Yogurt with Berries and Honey

Paige enjoys Greek yogurt topped with fresh berries and a honey drizz. “It’s filling, wholesome, and ready in minutes,” she says. Greek yogurt loaded with protein; berries provide antioxidants and fiber. On the road or at your desk, this combo is simple to grab.

2. Apple Slabs with Nut Butter

One of my faves is an apple topped with almond or peanut butter, Paige says. Apple adds natural sweetness; nut butters supply good fats. Paige sometimes cuts an apple and keeps it in a container for a fast snack later. “It’s basic yet always hits the mark.”

3. Vegetable Sticks and Gluten-Free Hammus

A little yet filling snack is hummus and vegetables. Paige says, “perfect dippers are carrot, cucumber, and bell pepper slices.” Easy to make ahead of time, hummus is a balanced snack with a creamy texture and a load of protein.

Those with hectic schedules trying to keep energy and satisfaction all through the day would find Paige’s gluten-free snacks perfect. Paige says, smiling, “Keep it simple, keep it delicious.” Her basic, healthy snacks simplify maintaining gluten-free diets.
