Zoe Knight’s Mediterranean Lifestyle for a Longer Life

Growing up in a small Greek hamlet on the seashore, Zoe Knight’s childhood centred on a feeling of community and fresh, nutritious cuisine. Currently a wellness coach, her goal is to spread the secrets of the Mediterranean way of life around the globe.

“It’s not only about the cuisine, Zoe says. “It’s about how you live—slowly, deliberately, and with delight.”

Greek Salad with a Twist is among Zoe’s Mediterranean favourites. She replaces feta cheese for a dairy-free substitute and adds quinoa for more protein. “It’s vibrant, nutrient-dense, and so reviving,” she says.

Made with kalamata olives, garlic, lemon juice, and a splash of olive oil, her Olive Tapenade Spread is another basic item in her cuisine. “Spread it on whole-grain bread; you have the ideal snack or appetiser,” she says.

Zoe stresses, though, that the Mediterranean way of life goes beyond mere cuisine. She counsels, “Take time to enjoy your meals.” “Share them with loved ones; savour every bite; never eat in a hurry.”

Movement is also very important to Zoe. “You do not need a rigorous exercise program,” she advises. “Your health will benefit much from a basic walk by the sea or some light yoga.”

Simple but wise is Zoe’s counsel: “Live with intention.” Eat fresh, keep moving your body, and strengthen your relationships. The real formula for a long and contented life is that one.
