Luna West’s Dairy-Free Snacks for Improved Immunity

Luna West understands the value of healthy, dairy-free snacks in bolstering a robust immune system. Luna, a dietitian and mother of two, thinks that maintaining strong bodies depends much on our diet.

“Many people are unaware of how much dairy for some people causes inflammation,” Luna says. “Switching it out will help your immune system to get the boost it needs and lessen its load.”

Luna’s favourite snack is her Dairy-Free Turmeric Latte, sometimes referred to as “golden milk.” Not only tastes great but also loaded with anti-inflammatory qualities this creamy concoction of almond milk, turmeric, ginger, and a little maple syrup offers. She says, “Your immune system gets a nice hug.”

Luna promises her Coconut Bliss Balls will provide a rapid energy boost. Rich in antioxidants, good fats, and fibre, these bite-sized delights made with shredded coconut, almond butter, dates, and a sprinkle of chia seeds She advises using them as a pre-workout snack or even for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up.

Luna started her dairy-free path when her youngest child started to show lactose sensitivity. She has been working since then to develop meals that are both filling and nouraging. She remembers how much better we all felt once we cut dairy from our diet. “Now I get excited about sharing these advantages with others.”

Luna advises beginning small for individuals who are just starting out with dairy-free eating. She proposes substituting a coconut-based normal yoghurt or a plant-based cheese replacement. “You will be surprised at how simple and good it can be.”
