Grace Ward’s Best Whole30 Recipes for Beginners

Grace Ward was overwhelmed by the rigorous guidelines when she first started her Whole30 path. She soon found, though, that the program could be both reasonable and fun given the correct recipes.

“It’s all about basic, sensible ingredients,” she explains. For everyone just starting Whole30, here are Grace’s best dishes.

Breakfast: Sweet Potato and Egg Hash

Grace comments, “This dish saves busy mornings.” She sautés chopped sweet potatoes in olive oil until they were soft, then tosses chopped spinach and breaks a few eggs on top. “You have a substantial, filling breakfast if you cover the pan for a few minutes to let the eggs cook,” she says.

Lunch: Chicken Salad Lettuce Wraps

Using shredded chicken, homemade mayo, celery, and green onions, Grace creates chicken salad for a fast and simple lunch. “You have a light but filling meal if you scoop it into crisp lettuce leaves,” she says. It’s ideal for dinner prep as well.

Snack: Veggies with Guacamole

“Snacking on Whole30 doesn’t have to be dull,” Grace notes. Her preferred snack is bell pepper strips mixed with carrot sticks and cucumbers accompanied by homemade guacamole. She keeps the guacamole basic using avocado, lime juice, and a little salt. She notes, “It’s creamy and flavorful.”

Dinner: Garlic Herb Chicken with Cauliflower Mash

Grace frequently pairs cauliflower mash with garlic herb chicken for dinner. Before oven roasting chicken thighs, she seasons them with thyme, rosemary, and garlic. She steams cauliflower florets for the mash and combines them with a small quantity of ghee. “It’s comfort food without violating the guidelines,” she explains.

Dessert: Baked Apples with Cinnamon

Although Whole30 has few sweets, Grace discovered a way to indulge in a sweet treat. She softens and smells apples dusted with cinnamon till they are ready. She comments, “They satisfy my dessert needs and are naturally sweet.”

The Whole30 recipes of Grace are evidence of the simplicity of good nutrition. She counsels, “focus on fresh, real food; you’ll be amazed at what you can create.” These dishes are ideal introduction to Whole30 for anyone wishing to start the diet.
