Simplified Hacks for Low-Carb Meal Prepping by Sienna Collins

Meal planning was used to scare Sienna Collins until she came onto some low-carb tips that were simple and entertaining. Sienna advises, “the key is keeping it simple and flavorful.”

Sienna starts with organizing meals around low-carb vegetables and lean proteins. She loves baked fish, turkey meatballs, and grilled chicken. “Sunday I’ll roast a large batch of bell peppers, cauliflower, and zucchini,” she explains. For the week, they are flexible sides.

Lunch is a lettuce wrap topped with turkey, avocado, and a dollop of mayo. She loves marinara sauce and ground meat atop zoodles (zucchini noodles) for dinner. “Like eating spaghetti without the carb crash,” Sienna says.

Sienna advises ahead of time marinating proteins and pre-chopping veggies to save time. She counsels, “I keep everything in glass containers so it stays fresh and I can see what’s inside.” Yet another hack? Employing appliances like an air fryer. “For crispy vegetables without extra oil, it’s a game-changer.” she explains.

Golden rule for senna: batch cooking. She advises double the recipe and freeze half if you are already in the kitchen. This approach guarantees that even on hectic days, she always has low-carb choices available.

Sienna argues that meal planning doesn’t have to be difficult. “Staying to your low-carb goals will make you feel so much better; a little planning goes a long way.”
