Passionate vegan and gut health advocate Sophia feels that general wellness depends much on your diet. She’s here to provide her top picks for mouthwatering but also very gut-friendly foods.

Made from scratch kimchi is one of her favorites. “It’s full of probiotics supporting gut health,” she notes. Sophia likes kimchi as a topping for avocado toast or as a snack all by itself.

Her Coconut Yogurt Parfait is yet another favorite. “I layer fresh berries, granola, coconut yogurt, and a drizzle of maple syrup,” she says. “Coconut yogurt is a wonderful plant-based probiotic source.”

Sophia roasts chickpeas for a flavorful choice. Before baking till crispy, she throws them olive oil, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. “They’re crunchy, satisfying, and high in fiber,” she explains.

Sophia like her Green Smoothie as well. “I stir spinach, cucumbers, ginger, and a green apple with water or coconut water,” she says. “It’s hydraging and loaded with prebiotics to feed the good bacteria in your gut.”

A handful of nuts and seeds—almonds, walnuts, and flaxseeds—makes her fast go-to snack. She says, “they support general gut health and are high in omega-3s.”
