Sienna Drew’s Mediterranean-Inspired Clean Eating Plan

Sienna Drew didn’t plan to fall in love with Mediterranean-style eating. It started as a way to help her dad after his doctor recommended the diet for heart health. “I told him I’d try it with him so he wouldn’t feel alone,” she says.

What she discovered surprised her. Meals didn’t feel restrictive—they felt joyful. “There was olive oil, roasted vegetables, crusty whole grain bread, grilled fish, and ripe tomatoes sprinkled with sea salt,” she says. “I wasn’t dieting. I was just eating better.”

Sienna gradually adapted her own clean eating plan to reflect Mediterranean values: simplicity, flavor, balance. She focused less on cutting out foods and more on adding nourishing ingredients—extra greens in soups, herbs on everything, and beans as the heart of many meals.

Instead of skipping carbs, she embraced whole grains like farro and barley. She made dips like hummus and baba ghanoush staples, paired with raw veggies and olives. And she slowed down during meals, something she credits with helping her feel more satisfied and less snacky afterward.

Over time, her energy levels improved. So did her digestion and skin. Her dad even stuck to the plan too—and both of them feel better than ever.
