“Going gluten-free doesn’t mean giving up taste,” Mila notes. “You simply need a small bit of imagination.”
Her initial choice was Sweet potato skins loaded with stuff. “I scoop out the centers, roast sweet potatoes, then load black beans, cheese, and salsa into them. They disappeared in minutes; pop them back in the oven!
Mila enjoys creating gluten-free pizza bits as well. She tosses marinara, mozzarella, turkey pepperoni using gluten-free tortilla rounds, then bakes them till crispy. She laughs, “They’re like tiny pizzas you can eat with one hand.”
Mila suggests chocolate-covered strawberries for a sweet variation. “They’re naturally gluten-free and feel fancy, but they’re so easy to make.”
