Amelia White says following a vegan diet is not costly. You can eat plant-based without fancy superfoods. She says, some of the most basic components are the best.
Amelia starts her week with reasonably priced basics including rice, lentils, and beans. These are not only reasonably priced but also rather flexible. She adds you can create stews, soups, even vegetable burgers.
She usually has porridge for breakfast topped with nuts and seasonal fruits. She says, “It’s filling, wonderful, and costs pennies.”
Another piece of advice is shopping intelligently. “Buy in bulk when you can; don’t ignore frozen vegetables; they’re just as nutritious and usually less expensive,” Amelia counsels. Fresh, reasonably priced food is also readily available from farmer’s markets.
Amelia advises looking at spices to keep food interesting. “The simplest dish taste can be amazing with curry powder, paprika, and garlic,” she explains. Her preferred dish is lentil curry served with handmade flatbread.
Eating vegan does not imply forfeiting pleasure either. With laughter, Amelia explains, “I make a mean chocolate mug cake with just flour, cocoa, sugar, and water.”
Anyone can adopt a vegan diet without going broke with some imagination and effort. Try it instead; why not?
